Let’s back up a bit – we’re demoimmy.com, longtime friends and self-proclaimed laundry geeks. When each of us went to buy a new washer or dryer for our homes, we had the hardest time finding trustworthy reviews and recommendations. Appliance shopping shouldn’t be so confusing!

So that’s when we came up with the idea for this site. We wanted to create a helpful resource for friends and neighbors to guide them through the appliance buying process with us. Our site has now grown way beyond our hometown, but we still treat each reader like a friend!

We proudly do 100% original research and writing on all our washer and dryer reviews. Our process involves hands-on product testing, poring over specs and features, surveying owners, and consulting with industry experts. We often debate among our team about load capacity, drying times, and which agitator really is the best – yeah, we’re that obsessed with laundry!
